It's August and you
know what that means...RENO!
Some of us are here
in Reno for the annual
Hot August Nights
Celebration. So far so good...
Ed & Nancy, Mike &
Frances and Tim & Jody
came up early to the Silver Dollar Car Classic Show in Carson City where we met
up with Don & Judy
and Sonny, Joann & Footlong.
We had a great time at the show and three of us came away with awards. I
failed to find out which ones Don & Sonny got, but Tim's was
"Most Likely To Get
Busted" picked by
the local Sheriff!
A few of the Road Angels headed over to Gilroy for the Garlic City Fun Run this weekend. It was hot, but not unbearable...a few of us even came home with Merchant Awards, those I know of are:
Alan & Gloria
Cursi with their Mustang
Mike Botzon with his Willys
Tony Gonzalez with his 57 Chevy
and ME with my little Bird.
Congratulations
Everyone.

We came away from the
air show with two new members!
Welcome to the club Richard & Lisa Garcia

Some of us went to
Morgan Hill on Saturday the 19th for a little show... Oh and we came away
with two new members who went home with not one (Best Topless), not two (Best
Custom), but three (People's Choice) awards!
Congratulations and
welcome to the club Max & Linda Satomba! Oh and congratulations to Mike &
Frances who brought home the Best Hot Rod Award.

Well, we did it! We had a great turnout for the First Annual Willy's Rods & Hogs Car Show at Watsonville High School.
Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the show. We had 107 registered cars and quite a few who showed up too late to register. All in all it was a great effort for a first time show. We made just shy of $5000.00 for the Athletic and Activities Departments, so once again, on behalf of Watsonville High School and the Road Angels, THANK YOU!
